Photographing the greatest indoor/outdoor conference in the USA
This summer I put together a team of my favorite Seattle photographers and we covered the City Parks Alliance Greater and Greener conference. Held once every two years, in a different city each time, this conference allows guests to tour, kayak, hike, explore, and ride on trails and in parks all over the city. the event was produced in partnership with Seattle’s Parks and Recreation Department and showcased the Emerald City’s finest asset, it’s outdoor public spaces.
An international delegation of parks officials toured places like Seward Park, the Ballard Locks, Magnolia Park, Volunteer Park, the University of Washington campus, and the Seattle Waterfront just to name a few.
This was one of the most fun and interactive conferences I’ve ever photographed and I hope to work with the City Parks Alliance again soon!
